Outstanding guage!
Moroso 89560 Tire Pressure Gauge, Dial Type, 0-60 psi

I already had a couple of tire gauges around the house. I would use a pen type for checking my motorcycle, a T type pump with a guage for my bike, and a gauged foot pump for my car.
One day while pumping my motorcycle tire up with the foot pump I decided to cross check the PSI with the pen gauge to see how they compared. Turned out they were off by a few PSI. So I decided to test all 3 out and they all came back reading a few PSI off (with the T pump being WAY off, by like 15 PSI).
I decided then I needed a GOOD and ACCURATE gauge to use with my motorcycle. When you are going 120mph on two wheels you need to be confident that your tires are going to do their job. They can't do that if you don't have the correct pressure. Too low or too high and they wear faster, track differently, provide different lean profiles, etc.
Well I happened upon this Moroso guage and I'm glad I did. Before I buy anything I check out who makes it, and look for any reviews I can to get an idea how good (quality wise) something is. I was happy to find that Moroso has a great reputation for manufacturing parts for high performance and racing applications. Sounded good to me so I got the thing.

I have to say I LOVE this gauge. It's absolutely perfect for the PSI ranges I need for my motorcycle (which uses 33-42 PSI depending on the tire), and the bleed valve is really handy in getting the pressure right where I want.
I like that this thing lists the pressure in 1PSI increments. My other gauges all were in odd increments (like 3 dashes inbetween 25 and 30 instead of 4) so you had to guess a bit if you needed say 33PSI.
As others have said (and is a credit to this gauge) is the positive seal you get on the valve stem. I've used a number of pumps and often I've lost a few PSI in the act of attaching or detaching a gauge or pump. I don't seem to have that problem with the Moroso.
Something else I like is the fact that the valve itself rotates 360 degrees, so you can position the valve without having to try and twist the hose in order to read the thing.
I'd also like to point out that the hose is much longer than the picture above (that's the incorrect picture) and the gauge is silver, not black. The correct picture can be found on Moroso's website as product #89555.
The only issue I have with the gauge at all is the 45 degree angle of the valve. Working with a motorcycle I have to deal with large brake rotors which can be a bit difficult to work with (limited space to work in). A 90 degree valve would be a bit better for that sort of thing, but luckily the long hose gives you enough length to work with.

Given how satisfied I am with this one, when it's time for a new gauge I may go up to the more expensive Moroso Digital.
Oh as a side comment to another review I saw here, no the gauge does not come with the rubber cover for the gauge itself... and to be honest unless you see yourself dropping and kicking the thing around it's not something you'll need.

2 + 2 -
What I saw in the picture is NOT what I got. Mine is all black and has much longer valve tube.

This is a H-U-G-E gauge and more suitable for home use than carrying along on the road. Very good valve stem fitment and it rotates too. Dial has somewhat cheesy plastic feel but does show accurate pressure (makes me realize my trusted little portable Accutire gauge is in fact off by 2 psi.) Bleed valve is a nice feature but don't expect a precision feel. Four stars!

Individually calibrated and accurate, I am impressed.
Extremely accurate, ergonomic, does not have the external pointer stop to bend the pointer, and it is easy to read. It does not hold pressure after the gauge is removed; the button on the side is for bleeding off pressure only. Purchase the rubber Moroso 89590 Tire Pressure Gauge Cover that is made for it, the protection and improved handling make it well worth the money and it looks much better with the cover on.

When buying a tool it is best to get a good one that will last for years. The research I did on the internet paid off, I am totally satisfied with this gauge. Because it is a new style it can take a few times to get used to using it. I recommend putting your index finger under the nozzle to make sure the gauge goes on straight to avoid unwanted leaking and apply pressure with your thumb, after using it a while this is may not be necessary.

Being a mechanic I check my tire pressures on both vehicles once a week and accuracy and ease of use is very important to me. I keep this gauge inside the house to keep it nice and my old gauges in the vehicles.

According to Moroso, each Moroso 89560 gauge is individually calibrated for accuracy within 2% which means that at 50 psi the gauge should be not lower than 49 or above 51 as it will not be off by more than 1 psi.

The Moroso 89562 Pro Series Tire Pressure Gauge which is accurate within one half percent which means that the Pro gauge would be not lower than 49.75 or above 50.25 at 50 psi as it will not be off by more than one fourth psi.

I had my Moroso 89560 gauge tested on digital calibration equipment and it was as accurate as the Pro is advertised to be through the range of 5 to 60. If you have a tire that loses more than 1 or 2 psi a month you can have a nail or other leak and several times I have found leaks by regular checks when one tire was lower than the other three.

With high gas prices, keeping your tires properly inflated helps to get the best gas mileage, and twice I have been driving along and have seen people with low tires have blowouts which you can help to avoid by catching slow leaks early.

The gauge is a great value and Amazon.com helped me to get the best price on a product I am totally satisfied with. The one gauge I currently have developed a bent pointer from the external stop, the Moroso does not have the stop and I wanted a nice gauge that would last and be easy to use so I am totally delighted and completely satisfied with the Moroso.

Best tire pressure gauge I've ever used!
The best thing about this gauge (as others have mentioned) is the perfect seal on the valve stem. There are absolutely no air leaks so I am confident I am getting the correct pressure (assuming the gauge is accurate...but I have no way to verify that). The gauge is large and easy to read. It is a little ungainly to use at first because of the stiff tubing (I won't store this one in my car because of the size) but it becomes easier to use with practice. Some mentioned that this gauge doesn't hold the pressure on the dial like some others. It couldn't do this and have a functional bleed valve (which in my opinion is much preferable). You just fill the tire a few pounds higher than recommended and then bleed the air (using the bleed valve) to your desired pressure. Very simple and elegant. Only one complaint (again as others have mentioned). The rubber gauge cover (which is a must purchase) ought to be included for the price. By the way, at first I thought I was going to have to disassemble the gauge to put the rubber cover on but it can be slipped over the entire tubing to be but on without disassembling anything!

Professional Grade Tyre Gauge
i bought this tyre gauge based on the reviews and the tiny picture you see here. the overall physical size is larger than what you can see in the picture and it has very solid build. i was expecting something solid but when i see the real thing, i was still amazed. the rotary air valve is convenient and makes instant air seal. the reading is big, clear and very stable. the air release valve is good too. basically everything you would need to achieve accurate tyre pressure: it's not cheap but you got a truely no-nonsense professional gauge.

as others have mentioned, the rubber protector shall definitely come along with the gauge. in fact, i really hope it comes with a carry bag. the bag doesnt have to be LV-alike or made of italian leather, just anything of the right size and shape with enough cushion for the gauge to sit in so that i can leave it in my car boot. now i have to go to accessory shop to find one.

having said that, it still deserves 5 stars.
