Rain-X 161040 Roof Top Cargo Bag

This is a great value for the money but only in warm weather. The material gets so stiff in cold weather that it is almost impossible to work the zippers, and the zipper flap cracked open at a seam in 20degree weather while trying to lift the flap to get at the zipper.

My husband and I were very pleased with this cargo bag. It arrived very quickly and on time for our trip. It was easy to use and conveniently stores in the storage bag when not in use. We weren't sure the straps that were attached to it would hold so we did use some extra straps, but I guess it depends on how heavy your load is. It did rain on our trip but everything was dry when we arrived at our destination. Yes, you do need a roof rack to use this cargo bag, but I think that is a pretty obvious observation. You shouldn't need someone to tell you that. I would recommend this product to my friends and family.

Bag was needed to travel 2000 miles to Colorado. It poured in Iowa during
the drive. Nothing got wet. Bag was easy to put on roof and held a college girl's essentials quite well. We used those new plastic bags to hold her clothes and it held everything.

Our Rain-x Cargo Bag made it through a rain storm and hot weather without any problems. When you first set it up it is a little tricky, but once you have the straps set, it was easy to reload and excellent for storage! It really does fit back into a bag the size and shape of a large shoe box!

Good price, and it came promptly. I did not need to use it on the trip I just took, so I can't say anything more at this time.
