Peltor H10A Optime 105 Over-the-Head Earmuff

Wow, so inexpensive yet so effective. Comfortable, too. I shoot at a small indoor range where it gets LOUD, not too mention strong concussive bangs too. These cheap earmuffs work like a charm. I like these so much that I ordered another pair for anyone who wants to go shoot with me, they're just so effective and so well-priced. I highly recommend these!

I bought these to block out the sound at night from noisy air conditioners near my bedroom windows. These really do the trick. I had tried white sound machines, meditative sound machines, etc. but these totally blocked the noise so that I could get a good night's sleep.

I listen to my Ipod while I'm riding the lawn tractor and these earmuffs really cut down the outside noise. My only complaint is that they are very tight to the head ... but I had another pair (different mfg) that was even worse. Not sure why they have to be like a vise on the head, but they do reduce the noise! Another good thing is that they don't crush my ears to my skull.

These do a pretty good job of reducing the noise that reaches your ear, and are fairly comfortable. However, they do leave me clamoring for a 50+ db model instead. The "you can't hear anything" reviews either exaggerate or are written by people who are already hearing impaired. Highs in particular (e.g. an adorable, squealing baby) come through with only a moderate degree of attenuation.

These are great. They are easy to adjust and do a great job blocking out noise. What more could you ask for from a pair of earmuffs?
