Quaker State 5062625 5W30 Q Advanced Engine Full Synthetic, Case of Six 1 Quart Bottles

My reason to purchase this full synthetic oil was due mainly to the low price[...]. The manufacturer's specifications (data sheet) looked "good" as well for use in a vehicle planned to be driven 95%+ highway miles. I plan to follow GM's extended oil change requirements as indicated through my 2008 Pontiac G6's oil life monitoring system (OLS) verses the traditional 3,000 miles as recommended by most oil manufacturers. This is a first for me using full synthetic oil exclusively from the point of engine break-in (7,500 miles) and upward. Even though the engine does appear quieter under load, I have not seen an increase in average MPG as I expected from full synthetic oil. However, the full synthetic oil should provide an increase in protection especially as the warmer seasons approach.

Chevrolet dealer is happy for me to use quaker state advanced full synthetic oil. If I buy it there, the cost is to high. Thanks Amazon.

I have used this oil in all my vehicles-Nissan Armada, Nissqan Atrmada and in my Polaris 800 ATV and my 2 Polaris 800 cc snowmobiles. I have NEVER had an issue with this oil, and it does seem to break down much less than a "conventional" oil. I bought this to use in my 26 HP Husqvarna Lawn Tractor and it my snowblowers. So far it is excellent in my anowblower
