Pulstar BE-1 Pulse Plug, Pack of 2

i have a 2009 scion xb and after installing these spark plugs i got less avg. mpg., 24 compared to 25.6. although i believe i did get a bit more power, but not much to sacrifice 1.4 gallons of gas.

I installed Pulstar pulseplugs in my Toyota Matrix 2 weeks ago. I am noticing a peppier acceleration with my little 1.8 liter engine and an increase of at least 2 mpg. In combination driving, I beat my best previous highway mpg!

You need to check before buying to find out what it will cost to install plugs if you can't do it yourself. I found out that it would cost me about $250.00 to have the plugs installed on a 2008 Hyundai. No matter hpow much the savings it isn't worth it to purchase the plugs.

Great product! I saw this plug in a Popular Mechanics magazine advertisement. After researching the product I decided to give them a try. I installed these plugs in a 1997 V6 3.8L Camaro (115k miles) & 1992 4cyl 2.5L Jeep (170k miles). The Camaro has more power now and runs smoother. There is a noticeable healthy purr coming from the tailpipe that wasn't there before. It has always gotten great mileage so I don't know if that can get any better (35+ highway). The Jeep benefitted the most. I've been chashing a hesitation and slight backfire problem. Not to mention, sorely lacking in power. I dare not pull out into traffic unless I had plenty of room to get going. Before installing the plugs, I installed a cold air intake with throttle body system, plugs & wires, rotor & cap, 40k volt coil. The coil made the most difference with respect to power. However, I couldn't get rid of the popping and hesitation from a stopped position. After installing the plugs, all is well. WOW! WOW! WOW! Need I say more?

I've tried numerous products to help with engine performance, longevity, and fuel mileage increases. I have been running approx. 29 to 30mpg for almost one year now with my honda civic ex. So I didn't skew the results, I replaced the original plugs at 60k miles with the Pulstar BE-1s and cleaned the throttle body. If the throttle body was going to add to it, it would have been immediately noticed with the mileage. The real immediate difference was the smoothness and throttle response. They were much improved. Later I noticed high speed acceleration was improved. 70 to 90mph. The first two tanks of gas showed the same as before, approx 29.6mpg but the 3rd tank jumped to 34.8mpg and is holding there. I love the feel of the engine, it is smootheer than when it was new. This is the best results I have ever got with a after market add-on. They will pay for themselves very quickly but I would buy again just for the way the car feels now.
