Cuts grease! This stuff really works. I use it to clean the kitchen, shop and bath. I love it.

This is our second time ordering this product online from Amazon. We used to be able to buy it at our [...], but it seems they're not carrying it anymore...what a shame as that was one of our main reasons to shop there!
Buying it by the case is actually easier and qualifies it for the "Super Saver FREE shipping", so though we normally NEVER buy a case of any product at one time, we'll make the exception for this exceptional product! We use it as you'd use other cleaning products (Such as 409) and it really takes care of any mess. I've used it to remove tough clothing stains, clean up pet accidents and stains on upholstery (dilute it a bit) and it does the trick on every problem...works great on auto upholstery, too. This is the ONLY product that my husband raves about...the minute we get down to the last two bottles, he's letting me know to re-order.

A friend of mine from Florida raved about Oil Eater and brought me some to try when she visited. It was FANTASTIC and worked on everything, in varying strengths, except glass and mirrors. The problem was that it was unavailable in stores in my area, so I looked for it online and found it and ordered some at Amazon. When it arrived, it had been so badly packed (no wrapping or padding or filler -- just loose in the box)that the bottles were crushed and the contents had leaked everywhere. There was no choice but to have my building dispose of it properly. I then contacted Amazon and they sent me more "for free." However, now they want to charge me for the original shipment because I didn't RETURN it! There was NO WAY to return this mess, believe me!

This product is excellent. I was using it to clean my TimberTech composite deck after the construction crew accidentally left mayo from their sub sandwiches all over the deck. The mayo, being basically 100% vegetable oil, left big dark stains all over. I used this product WITHOUT checking for color fastness and it removed the oil stains completely but it slightly bleached my deck. The bleaching has faded over time and is close to unnoticeable now, but here is what I would recommend...

Take your time, don't do what I did, which was to spray it on a hot, dry deck, let it sit for a while, then rub it in with a toothbrush, then let it sit for a while, then rinse it off...

I would recommend... First, test for colorfastness, but if you omit this step, take your time and wet the decking first (to limit absorption), then apply the oil eater and rub it in with whatever you're using. Then rinse immediately. This will limit the possibility of bleaching the material. Then, let it dry before trying again. This will give you a good feel for whether it will affect the appearance of the decking.

Overall, this is a VERY good product, but because it is so effective, you should take appropriate care when using it.
