Ice Kit
Painted a 1982 Honda cb900f supersport. It took 4 kits because cans are small. Follow instructions & you should have no problems. Make sure to wash items to be painted & sand. Used grey auto primer on all of my parts before starting kit. Patience is needed. If you always have drips when you spray paint go to the store & buy a cheap can of spray paint to practice with. as long as you keep recommend distance away from surface you should have no runs.
Try to hang what ever needs to be painted with hangers from above. In my opinion can't be beat for the price.

No color shift - dont waste your money.
I brought this product in hopes of puting a unique finish on my bicycle helmet.

Following the package instructions, I have what I would call a metal flake finish under a clear coat shine, but with no color shift at all. OK, at just the right angle, with the sun over my shoulder, I can see just a hint of a halo of color shift. Totally worthless.

Is it just me or is it somewhat unusual that most of the user photos posted are exactly the images from the product packaging? Could those users possibly be Company shills?

Mirage color shifting spray paint -magic in a can!
I was recently interested in the re-painting of a motorcycle
I own. I have always had very good results with the products offered by Duplicolor, and took a look at their info to see
what colors were available. A new product caught my eye, the
Mirage series of color shifting paint systems, and I decided
to give it a try. I say this is a system, beacause it is a 3 stage process. There were 5 different color shift systems available, and I chose the color called Ice.

Ice is a silvery grey color, with an impressive rainbow
effect when viewed at different angles, and in different lights.

The Mirage Ice kit comprises 3 cans of different paint. To apply this paint you would prepare your surface as you would
normally for spray painting. The first step in the system is to apply the base coat. This is a black color required to provide an even base for the color coat. After the base coat dries,
the second step of the system containing the color coat is applied. The more coats of this you apply, the greater the color shift will be. The third and last step of the system is a clear coat, and it really makes the color shine!

I am so pleased with the results, and it really looks like it was done professionally. I would definitly recommend this product to others. I liked the clear, easy to follow instructions, and the ease of application. The results are
truly stunning, for a very resonable effort. For my money,
Duplicolor Mirage is magic in a can.

Awesome
Dupli-Color has outdone themselves with this easy to apply paint system. The "Ice" has a veritable plethora of different shades and colors depending on the light. I strongly suggest this system to anyone who is looking for that "something different" look for thier project. I have used it on wheels, helmets, computer cases, The step sons bike, Cell phone cases, even on certain parts of my racecar. WAY COOL!!!!!! Lots of compliments!
