Great buy
I purchased this to carry of my dvds in to save space when moving to college. Personally, I wish it was just a little cheaper, but you get your money's worth. 2010-09-03

Does the Job
Most of the negative reviews for this Case Logic 336-Disc CD Wallet seem to be coming from people who liked features on the older model that Case Logic either altered or got rid of on the more recent model. I have only ever used the new model, so I can't speak to whether it's better or worse than it used to be, but only to what I encountered when I recently (August 2010) purchased 3 of these units.
Like most people, I'd imagine, I'm buying these because I got sick of CD jewel cases taking up so much space in my house. With their 336 disc capacity and nice sale price on Amazon, these Case Logic CD wallets seemed to be the solution. They arrived last week, and I spent a day interacting with these wallets quite a bit as I organized my CDs and put them into the wallets, so here's what I think:
1) Unlike some other reviewers, I don't find the brown stitching on the black wallets to be a big deal. I think these wallets are a bit better looking than many others on the market, even with the brown stitching, but in any case, let's get real - they're CD wallets, so they were never going to be beautiful. The color of the stitching isn't really what's holding them back from being an aesthetic asset to your home. CD wallets are depressing to look at no matter what. You will be happier if you store them in a cabinet out of sight, whatever color their stitching happens to be.
2) These wallets have an awesome capacity, and they are able to lie impressively flat almost to the last few pages of a wallet that has been filled with liner notes and CDs stored in the same pocket (i.e. making it overstuffed, since they recommend separating them, but I have too many CDs and didn't like to waste the space). I also really like the flat file portion in the front of the wallet, which is great for storing those fat booklets that sometimes come in CDs instead of standard liner notes, or just CDs that you want to be able to access quickly. Being able to remove this flat file wouldn't have added anything to my experience, but I understand why people who enjoyed that feature on the last model might be bitter that it's been removed. I would never have taken it out, though, so it's no biggie to me personally that it's no longer removable.
3) The handle seems really sturdy, and these store really nicely, keeping your CDs neat and dust free. Perhaps it would have been nice to be able to label the handles, as someone suggested you could on a previous model, but I tend to use our P-Touch Label Maker for stuff like this anyway, since it looks neater than handwritten labels, so again, no real biggie to me, and frankly the profile looks neater without the plastic sleeve on the handle that you'd need for a label.
Bottom line: My expectations were pretty basic: I just wanted a functional and durable-seeming CD wallet that held a lot of CDs and didn't cost too much loot. This Case Logic model fit the bill, so I'm happy with my purchase.

Great buy for massive DVD organization!
I was expecting a smaller case at first, but after getting my husbands ENTIRE DVD collection in it, I figured out why it was so thick. It was easy to add labels to each dvd holder and the outside even looks like leather. I am pleasantly surprised at how well the strap holds over 13 pounds of dvds. I'm so happy with this product and so happy that I don't have to stare at an ugly wall of DVD's anymore!! 2010-08-20

CD case
The product was exactly as described. Good quality. Pockets are easy to use. Good size storage for home. Not portable. 2010-08-11

My 6th Case Logic CD/DVD Wallet...The Best for the Price.
I am an avid DVD movie collector, and when I needed my first DVD wallet to hold my collection a few years ago, I got lucky and chose the Case Logic 360 CD/DVD Wallet, here at Amazon.
Since then I have purchased 5 more, (one just a few moments ago), and I just would not buy another brand.
I have two styles.. the Black All Leather, and the Black Nylon Stitched "Two Tone" style.
(I alternate from purchase to purchase...asthetics I guess :)
I have seen some of the complaints about the "improved" version, with the "brown stitching", etc... and I dont understand why people bought a different style and were then disappointed with it. If you search a little bit, you can always find the same style (the all leather, or the nylon stitched style), somewhere here at Amazon, and either get the same model you originally bought, or try one of the newer models. The "brown stitching" that I see some complaints about is such a minor difference than one with, perhaps, black stitching, that I don't think its worth complaining about. I think it looks better, myself.
But I can understand, as I said, the asthetic differences that might freak someone out who had black stitching, and then got one with brown stitching...I suppose.
The 336 Leather Wallet: Case Logic KSW320 Koskin CD Wallet - 336 Disc Capacity
The 320 Nylon "two tone": Nylon 320-Disc CD Wallet (Black) plus 16 CD/DVD Fast File Holder
(These are the two that I always purchase. I hope I got the right ones inserted in here :)
In any case, I don't think you can buy a more well crafted wallet that will hold so many DVD's, (or CD's), for these low prices, with the features that Case Logic offers.
(The tab slider that opens the rings allowing you to remove individual sleeves, or "pages". The multiple pockets on the inside of the front and back covers where you can put your most frequently used DVD'S or CD'S or perhaps store a DVD quickly until you can get it back to its proper place. The full size pockets on the inside of the front and back covers where you can slide your DVD list or your CD track lists, or any paperwork you might need to keep inside.)
The quality is excellent. They are well made. I have yet to bust a stitch, pop a zipper, break a handle, or even slightly tear an inside page near the ring holder.
Like anything else, if you take care of your stuff it will last a long long time.
The only small bother, with my first wallet, was learning how to zip it closed around that first corner when your ready to close it up and put the wallet away.
The overall square-ish shape of the Wallet, combined with the more rounded corners of the zipper enclosure, at first, makes it a minor challenge to get it zipped around the first turn. After you've zipped and unzipped it a few times, and once you learn the "technique" of using the finger of your other hand to hold the zipper straight, it ceases to be an issue.
I am very happy with my Case Logic Wallets, and will purchase several more before I have my DVD collection completed.
I certainly hope that this very unprofessional review is helpful to someone out there.
